Nearshore with the Petries- 8/31/10- Round 2

Greg, Duncan, Cam and I loaded up from Bald Head Island and headed to the ocean for some Spanish Macks and big sharks (and whatever else we could find). Ran across a nice pod of Spanish and Greg hooked one on the fly first cast of the morning- using a gummie fly - they seemed to like it!
Tried some shark fishing but it was slow so we went back to Spanish fishing the boys had a great time catching them on live bait while Greg did well on the fly rod the rest of the morning. When we had enough for dinner we finally found some shark action behind a shrimp boat- and Cameron and Duncan got to catch a nice sized shark....
Always great to fish with this family and can't wait until next year!
