Southport Angler gave away a weekend of waterfront lodging at the Little River, SC- CCA banquet(something I'm always apprehensive about doing). We could not have hand picked any better people than we got to come and stay. Shaw Williams and his crew spent a couple of nights and "They fit right in".
If Shaw will promise to buy the trip again next year I'll give two more night away- these were our kind of people!!!

Here is a pic of Shaw, Marteen "AKA Snag", Lock, and Lesley "AKA Ashley" with a double red fish bite that happened floating live shrimp/pogies on corks fishing a rising tide. Shaw ended up being my mate instead of fishing, as I couldn't keep up with the ladies. It was a constant double header of reds until the tide started falling. Shaw did manage to reel in two flounder and a trout all on artificial lures. We are not going to say how many flounder Shaw missed. Was a great trip with two great couples from South Carolina.
