Had a really unique group fishing for the 20th and 21st. All of the guys had been fishing together for 47 years- never missing a year to go on a trip together. That's some tradition!!! They have fished everywhere from Boca Pila in Mexico, to the western rivers in Wyoming and Montana. I had hoped they would not be disappointed when visting Southport, and I think these guys had as good a time as I did.
Jerry Garrett (the movie star of Southport-just ask him) hosted the trip and what great guys they were to fish with. The fish were biting well and we ended up with a great catch of speckled trout, red drum, and even a few flounder... Got one inshore slam out of the four guys on the first day...
