7/21/09 Capitano Trip

Todd Capitano, his son Jay and Todd's brother and I headed offshore to try some amberjacks on the fly- Unfortuately the 2 wrecks I chose were "Jack Free". I had been there a few days before and it had been covered! Not sure what happened but that's fishing... Todd did get a shot at one monster jack but he missed the fly twice!
We ended up bottom fishing and had a great time - Jay (8) hung in there all day long and he caught his first mahi, gag grouper, and red grouper. We also had plenty of nice seabass for them to eat the rest of the week on Bald Head Island... We had a good time and we caught lots of fish!
