King Mackerel are biting

The king mackerel continue to bite aggressively- in the usual spring time manner. They are eating drone spoons, sea witches, as well as frozen cigar minnows and of course live boat if you can jig some up. Most of these fish are 10-12 pounds and catching a limit is very doable this time of the year.
Here's Capt Chad with the big fish from last week. From the reports(I've heard) the grouper fishing is a little slow but it will pick up quickly in the next couple of weeks. Inshore there are some reds biting- still a little early on the flounder but they'll be here soon... Already getting a few calls for the summer trips- hope to see you all again this year!
