Two Half Days 8/24 & 8/29

Sunday 8/24 AM Inshore
Had a trip with Greg Petrie and his sons Duncan and Cameron. We had fished together last year and had a great time- we did again this year as well. Slammed the redfish with 20+ fish on Sunday morning. Lots of small fish but several nice 22-23 inch fish as well. Also caught blackdrum on live shrimp. No flounder but the reds kept us busy all morning and it was a great trip...Sorry my camera battery went dead! Greg got some good shots though...
Friday 8/29 AM Nearshore
Took off in the Parker with the boys we fished for Tarpon and Sharks for a little while then made a move and tried for some Spanish on the fly... Found several really nice schools of Jack Cravelles and Spanish mixed together. The size of the Spanish were impressive! Some looked like king mackerel skying out of the water. The feed was on for a good 2 hours...Greg had good action from both Jacks and Spanish on his flyrod. Cameron did well also with the live bait. Great two half days...
