Rich and Mike Turek and I headed out on a mission- to get Mike a red on his flyrod. The second stop Mike had a red on for a brief second then the fish spit the hook... We fished several more places and it was like someone turned a light switch off... The fish just would not bite- it may have been the 105 degree heat index!
Mike ended up with a nice red (on bait) and then had an excellent shot at a big fish tailing- but the wind had increased and we just could not get close enough- Seems like you always need 5 more feet!!!
