Had new resident Don McGuire and his friend Bob (who is an instructor for Orvis) aboard for some red fishing in the afternoon. We started off with a really nice fish and then missed a few.
Move to a new place and when we found the school -after poking around a little-it was the mother load! Big fish and a lot of them- unfortunately they did not want to eat. Bob had a few strikes and a couple of fish follow his lure but they were really lethargic. Maybe a couple of days of sunshine will warm them up enough to bite more aggressively.
Good day with some great guys and we saw and cast to over 100 fish no bad for the middle of February...
