Had a two boat trip with Greer Hughes of Cool Runnings Guide Service (910)523-0312(one of the best around!). We had some great guys aboard today. Dennis Stafford, Scott and Jeff Woodlief, Dewayne, and Tom all from Premiere Communications in Raleigh. It was the trout fishing trip of a lifetime...
My guys and I were catching them pretty fast... when Greer gave me a call and said we've only got 3 more to go for a limit... I moved over to his spot and finished up the morning. To say it was a great speck fishing is an understatement- it does not get any better-period. These fish were all big!!! Had two over the 4 pound mark but there were probably 20 more that were at the 3-3.5 pound mark.
If you want the chance at a citation speckled trout come down now- it's as good as it gets!!! 866-395-FISH
No way these pictures will do this trip justice!!! We snapped a few shots back at the dock- but we were all too busy to take any pictures while fishing... We also had a couple of black drum as well...
