Fished with Glen and Tom Hartung for Virginia (soon to be Southport/St. James).  I told Glen I would show him around since he's moving here in a couple of months.  We started off catching the reds then the bite just completely stopped.  Took him around to few trout spots- we could not find any schools however- scratched out one nice speck on a gulp grub.

Wanted these guys to get a taste of shallow water reds- The wind had the flat blown out and the tide was too low but I poled in there anyway!  Almost did not get back out but Tom managed a 29" red in a foot of water- exciting to say the least!

Hit a couple of more spots and Glen lost a BIG red to a dock piling.  Had several more bites but were unable to connect.  I look forward to seeing these guys on the water soon...

Here's Tom with the big red of the day caught in 12" of water-
