Fishing Report 10/23/07

Spent a great morning with two Southport locals- Joe Taglia and Bill Reedway. Even though the fish didn't bite as well as I would have liked (do they ever?) we still managed several redfish and a couple of trout.
After we limited out on reds Joe and Bill wanted some trout or flounder - even with a livewell full of shrimp we had trouble getting the trout going and the flounder were scarce as well. Just one of those days- water is still 77.5 degrees. Here'e the guys with a couple of nice reds on the first double of the morning (the larger fish was 27").
