Had Mark Jackson, his brother Keith, son Hunter and dad Jerry aboard today for some grouper fishing.  Mark had fished earlier in the year and caught some kings so he wanted to try for some groupers.  It was Jerry's birthday(I'm not telling which one) and we wanted to do well.  The forecast was perfect - so we thought!

Ran and jigged up live cigar minnows and then ran offshore to some ledges.  The wind was suppose to be 10 kts NE but that must have only been for a couple of hours because about 10:00 it started roaring 20+ mph!  We caught several nice fish before the blow started and I bent the anchor.  Ended up with 7-8 nice groupers and plenty of grunts, and the other usual bottom suspects.
