8/22/07 Slow Go...

Had a late afternoon trip with John Busbice and friends who were over at Bald Head for a wedding. We tried for reds flounder and trout early in the afternoon- and could only scratch out one small redfish. Then we trapon/sharked fished for about an hour and a half- just before dark. Did not even get a bite- The first time I've gone sharkless ever!!!
After dark we went and tried to catch come trout and ladyfish on the fly and on live shrimp. John managed 2 really nice ladyfish in the 24-25" range and we caught a couple of small trout. It was a great evening and the weather was perfect...
