Picked up Charlie Wilson and his son Charlie #4 at Bald Head for a half day.  Six year old little Charlie was ready for action and I thought trolling for Spanish would be the ticket.  When we go to the shoals there was a net boat with about 1000 yards of gill net out- NOT GOOD!  We trolled around for a few with no bites-and then tried "plan B".

Anchored up and hit the bottom with mullet minnows.  The first fish caught was a really nice gray trout- if you could have seen Charlie's eyes when he pulled that trout up it was priceless.  From then on he was hooked!

We ended up getting the fish fired up and both Charlie's were getting bites almost every cast.  Caught 12 different species total(with 2 tropical parrot fish).  All three of us had a great time- watching this kid catch fish was a great way to spend a day!
