A lawyer, a writer, and a headhunter all get aboard a boat- sounds like the beginning of a tall tale- or a bad joke one! Picked these guys up at Bald Head Island and we took off for a half day. We had trouble getting bait early- I had a few shrimp in the live well and we made a stop and I'm glad we did. Ended up with a couple of trout- one citation size I would guess at about 4 1/2 pounds- I had left my scales in the flats boat and bald head marina did not have any scales so we were not able to get an exact weight before the big trout became a fish taco.
After the trout we headed out and chased down a few shrimp boats and everyone got a big shark. We had a great day and hope these guys come back down again next year...
