Got to spend the day with Valerie and family today. We took the big boat so we could all be comfortable and it was windy so we stayed inshore. Had 3 great kids aboard- Chase-13 Nikki-6 were the main fisher people. These kids have been through a lot - just losing their dad - so we tried to have as much fun as you could pack into a day. We fished (and everyone caught at least one fish- except Nikki who stole the show with 3 speckled trout all on her own)
Also Chase took a turn at driving the boat and we had a cool lunch on an island. These are great kids and I'm just glad they could get out and have some fun for a day- I hope to see them all again very soon!
