Fishing Report 6/24/2007

Set off for a 3/4 day with Brian Tomey and sons Nate and Will -all from Charlotte, NC. These two kids were ready for action- we caught a net full of bait and set off for a day of king and mahi fishing. Unfortunately Nate and Will did not feel so well- so we ended up coming back to Bald Head Marina. They hung in there as long as they could and I will say they are two tough boys! Next trip we'll go inshore in the flats boat.
Brian asked if we had any time left and I told him to jump in and we would try to go catch "something". Live Baited fished around Yaupon Reef without a strike. Move offshore a little farther and had a barracuda explode on a live pogie- He jumped and put on quite a show. A strong storm rolled in so we had to cut it short. Hope to see these guys again in September!
