Extra Windy Fishing 3-25-07

Went yesterday with Dr. Joe Kibler. The wind was howling at least 20-25 knots. It was not a great day to fish to say the least. Tried some shallow water for reds but could not find them- it's tough when the flats are white capping... although the water was really clear for a change. Ended up seeking shelter in a creek and had a few flounder bites - boating one- and then catching one small redfish. Sorry no pictures I forgot the camera!
A special thanks to Steve and Jane Watson who stayed at the fat flounder. They were the first for the spring and I really enjoyed talking to them and having them stay for a long weekend. They had some great suggestions and we are getting geared up for the summer. Still have fourth of July week open if you need a place to stay in the middle of all of the action in Southport, NC!
